Siyanda's interest in psychological therapies can be traced back to his work as a University lecturer. In that capacity he acted as a student advisor supporting students on a one to one basis in their academic, mental and emotional wellbeing. Siyanda holds a PhD in Structural Geology and has had extensive experience as a University Lecturer before moving into IT. Over the last 9 years he has established himself as a competent IT professional working for an NHS Trust that specializes in mental health. This work has given him considerable insight and understanding of pertinent issues in mental health and is now a qualified Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) Facilitator. Recently, as part of another third sector organization he compiled and authored a report on "Small Ethnic Communities and Psychological Services". He is particularly interested in commissioning and legislation issues surrounding mental health care. He is a natural leader who has held Board of Trustee positions in various charities in the UK and abroad. Siyanda is a founder director of Millo Services CIC.
